Welcome to our new store page "Painting Fabrics & Textile Art" - currently featuring selected original works by Kootenay based artist Eileen Gidman. A member of the Canadian Federation of Artists, Eileen's artwork is shown in galleries locally and throughout Canada.
Eileen began painting her art onto fabric for our shop in 2009. Her work has been received with rave reviews by quilters, interior decorators and art collectors looking for unique opportunities to create textile art and home decor items that are truly special - "one of a kind". See Eileen's stunning artworks in our shop in Kaslo and now, we are pleased to present them for purchase here at our online store.
All of Eileen's paintings are painted with procion dyes on fine quality quilting cotton and are colorfast in cold water. All are intended to be enjoyed as quilted art to work into the project of your choice... wallhangings, quilts, clothing or simply framed for viewing.
