Primarily a freehand stitcher, all machine quilting is performed by Linda Cole in her studio at the Last Stitch Quilt Shoppe in Kaslo, British Columbia, Canada.
Every quilt is distinct and has it's own character and purpose. As stitchers for hire, we first look to understand the character of the quilt. Often, the quilt will tell a story and from there, a stitching path or quilting design can be created - one that is unique to the quilt. We work to support, to enhance - to bring out the character of the quilt and the quiltmakers intent.
